We are looking for an experienced veterinary technician with strong preference given to RVT/CVT to join our growing, privately owned, full-service general practice. Advanced skills are desired for this full-time position, but we will train the right candidate. We pride ourselves on providing outstanding client service and quality medicine. Veterinary Technician Responsibilities/Skills:
- Assisting in exam rooms/surgeries
- Performing routine labwork including cytologies, U/As, and utilizing IDEXX in-house lab equipment.
- Communicating directly with clients – in person and over the phone
- Maintaining detailed patient records
- Collecting blood samples
- Performing dental cleanings and dental x-rays
- Filling prescriptions
- Monitoring anesthesia
- Taking x-rays
- Providing nursing care to hospitalized patients
- All techs are cross trained in client service duties

Schedule:
- Monday through Friday – no nights or weekends. 1 hour, unpaid lunch. You will leave on time 98% of the time.

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
