About Our Practice
Tangled Roots is a newly established, clinician-owned mental health and wellness practice committed to providing exceptional care while creating a sustainable and supportive environment for therapists. We believe that clinicians do their best work when they feel valued, supported, and empowered to grow professionally.
We are currently seeking Provisionally Licensed Therapists (LSW, LPC, ALMFT) who are passionate about helping clients heal while continuing to develop their clinical skills within a collaborative team setting.

What You'll Do
- Provide individual, couples, and/or family therapy services
- Complete clinical documentation and treatment planning in a timely manner
- Participate in supervision and case consultation
- Maintain ethical, legal, and professional standards of practice
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to support client care
Compensation
Our unique hybrid compensation model combines guaranteed hourly pay with productivity-based bonuses, allowing clinicians to earn competitively while maintaining financial stability.
Estimated Annual Earnings: $52,000 – $83,000+ annually, depending on caseload and productivity.

Schedule Options
- Part-Time (approximately 15–23 sessions per week)
- Full-time (approximately 24–30 sessions per week)
- Flexible scheduling within standard business hours
Flexible Scheduling
- Create a schedule that works for both you and your clients
- Ability to structure your caseload within practice guidelines
- Daytime, evening, and limited weekend availability welcomed based on clinician preference and client needs
- Flexibility to adjust availability as your caseload grows
Work Location
- Hybrid role (combination of in-office and Telehealth services)
- Remote work available for telehealth sessions, documentation, treatment planning, and administrative tasks

Our clinicians are able to focus on client care while our team supports the operational side of practice.

Many clinicians build a strong caseload within 60–90 days.

Qualifications
- Master's degree in Counseling, Social Work, Marriage & Family Therapy, or related field
- Active Illinois LSW, LPC, or ALMFT license
- Ability to maintain a minimum of 15 client sessions per week
- Strong clinical, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Commitment to ethical, client-centered care
Preferred Experience
- Experience in a mental health or healthcare setting
- Familiarity with SimplePractice or similar EHR
- Experience supervising staff
- Experience with onboarding or credentialing
