As a Production Manager you will report directly to the owner and be responsible for overseeing projects in our production schedule. You will be in charge scheduling all orders into production, ordering necessary materials for jobs, managing production staff and their workflows, making sure deadlines are being met as well as working alongside the production team.
This is an excellent position for someone with some basic knowledge of the industry and building a lasting career.
You will be trained on our software and procedures as well as have an experienced staff to work with daily.
The primary responsibility of the Production manager is to maintain the flow of projects in house and staff for maximum production efficiency.

Production Manager Responsibilities:
- Manage production staff
- Schedule to prioritize and manage daily job production
- Update job status and location in MIS system
- Control waste and redos by quality-checking jobs as they are being produced
- Completes Quality Assurance documents for all printed jobs
- Partially responsible for operating digital commercial printers using Fiery Command Workstation
- Track waste, spoilage, usage and inventory for all digital printing machines
- Maintain all Digital Printing Equipment logs
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment
- Assist with all required maintenance and learn extended maintenance from the technician
- Ensures that all service “clicks” are credited by the service technician in each call, including credit for poor-quality copies
- Manage team to calibrate all color devices as required to maintain color consistency
- Other duties as assigned
Production Manager Qualifications
- Detail oriented
- No Experience Necessary - Many of our current team started with no experience, we will train the right candidate
- Digital printing and/or sign experience is preferred
- Some management experience is preferred
- Ability to organize several activities and tasks concurrently
- Ability to maximize profit through the efficient use of time and equipment
- Can perform basic bindery functions
- Familiar and comfortable with Fiery Print Controller not necessary but a plus
- Graphic design skills are a plus but NOT necessary
- Customer service experience is a plus but not necessary
