Project Manager / Production Manager
Texas Star Painting – Prosper, TX (North Dallas)
Texas Star Painting is looking for a dependable, organized, and customer-focused Project Manager / Production Manager to oversee residential painting projects throughout Prosper, Celina, Frisco, McKinney, Allen, and the surrounding North Dallas communities.

You'll work directly with the owner to manage projects from the day they're sold until the final walkthrough. Your goal is simple: deliver a five-star experience while keeping projects on schedule, maintaining quality, and ensuring our customers are thrilled with the finished product.

What You'll Do
- Manage residential painting projects from start to finish.
- Schedule crews and coordinate materials for upcoming projects.
- Visit job sites regularly to ensure quality, cleanliness, and safety.
- Communicate with homeowners throughout the project and keep them informed every step of the way.
- Perform quality inspections during preparation, painting, and final completion.
- Coordinate subcontractor crews and approve payments based on completed work.
- Handle customer questions, punch-list items, and change orders.
- Order paint and materials while keeping projects on budget.
- Keep detailed job notes, photos, and documentation using our job management software.
- Help recruit and develop dependable painting crews.
- Minimize callbacks by catching issues before the customer does.
Qualifications
- Bilingual (English & Spanish) is preferred but not required.
- Previous experience managing painting, remodeling, or construction projects.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
- Comfortable using smartphones, tablets, and job management software.
- Valid driver's license with reliable transportation.
- Positive attitude with strong leadership skills.
Bonus Qualifications
- Experience managing residential repaint projects.
- Experience working with production builders such as Highland Homes, Toll Brothers, Perry Homes, American Legend, Shaddock Homes, or similar builders is a plus.
- Experience estimating or scheduling painting projects is a bonus.

Compensation: $55,000–$80,000+ per year (depending on experience), plus performance bonuses and opportunities for advancement.
Work Location: On the road throughout Prosper, Celina, Frisco, McKinney, Allen, Plano, and the surrounding North Dallas communities.
Pay: $55,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
