Hours: 8 - 16 hours/day Monday - Sunday available ( overtime included→ $11 - $12/hour due to state reimbursement rate with our agency)
Start Time: 8am or 9am day shift / 8pm or 9pm overnight shifts
Job Description
We currently have several immediate openings throughout the Honesdale, Hawley, Lake Como, Pleasant Mount, Beach Lake and surrounding areas. These cases involve Full-time, overnight, full day / weekend shifts providing compassionate in-home care to individuals with varying levels of assistance needs. Responsibilities may include:
- Personal care (bathing, dressing, hygiene)
- Transfers and mobility assistance
- Meal preparation
- Light housekeeping
- Medication reminders
- Companionship
- Assisting clients with limited mobility or oxygen use
- Following individualized care plans
Some of our clients require a higher level of care, so we’re looking for dependable caregivers who are confident, compassionate, and comfortable working with more involved cases.

We’re looking for caregivers who can commit to full-time hours with an immediate start. If this is something you can commit to, please reply and confirm:

Some of our client/ participant have extremely limited mobility who requires full assistance for nearly all daily tasks.
ADL Support
- Total assistance with bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Full toileting assistance including transfers, cleaning, and ensuring dignity.
- Incontinence care and skin monitoring.
Mobility Assistance
- Hands-on support for all transfers.
- Use of gait belt if appropriate.
- Assist with repositioning to prevent skin breakdown.
Meal Preparation
- Prepare all meals, including thickened liquids if required.
- Ensure safe swallowing and monitor for aspiration risks.
Dementia Care
- Provide structured routines, memory cues, redirection, safety reinforcement.
- Maintain a calm, reassuring environment.
Parkinson’s Support
- Monitor tremors, mobility limitations, and ensure safe slow transfers.
- Allow additional time for all tasks.
Housekeeping
- Full cleaning of living areas, bedding changes, laundry, bathroom disinfection, kitchen sanitizing.
