TK Health is seeking an experienced Medical Director (MD or DO) to provide clinical leadership and oversight for correctional healthcare operations in the Tulsa, Oklahoma area.

Provide medical leadership and clinical oversight for correctional healthcare operations

Deliver direct patient care as needed

Supervise and support advanced practice providers (NPs and PAs)

Review and approve medications and complex treatment plans

Ensure compliance with clinical standards, policies, and regulatory requirements

Collaborate with facility leadership, nursing staff, and interdisciplinary care teams

Support quality improvement initiatives and evidence-based clinical practices

Mentor providers and assist with complex clinical decision-making

Participate in an on-call rotation as assigned

Active, unrestricted Oklahoma MD or DO license

Board-certified or board-eligible in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, Emergency Medicine, or a related specialty

Strong communication, leadership, and collaboration skills

Ability to pass a background check

3–5 years of clinical experience

Prior physician leadership or supervisory experience

Correctional healthcare experience

Qualifications
Active, unrestricted MD or DO license in Oklahoma (required)
Board-certified or board-eligible in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or a related specialty
Minimum of 3–5 years of clinical experience preferred
Prior leadership or supervisory experience strongly preferred
Correctional healthcare experience is a plus but not required
