Overview
Join our team as a Finish Trim Carpenter as we bring craftsmanship and professional trim installation on high end residential projects. In this role, you will be responsible for installing and finishing interior and occasionally exterior trim elements that elevate the aesthetic and functionality of the home. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects, develop your skills in carpentry and woodworking, and contribute to creating stunning finished spaces. Your pay rate will be based on your skill set.
Responsibilities
- Measure, cut, assemble, and install interior trim components including baseboards, crown molding, window casings, and custom woodwork.
- Hang and case interior doors
- Arrive and be ready to work by 8:00
- Maintain a safe work environment by adhering to power tool safety protocols and proper handling of construction materials.
Requirements
- Proven experience in residential carpentry with a focus on trim work;
- You must provide your own transportation as our job sites change frequently
- Skilled in using hand tools and power tools for woodworking as well as woodworking machines for precision cuts
- Must be willing to work with other carpenters in collaboration
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while managing materials such as solid interior doors and plywood
- Knowledge of wood construction materials including various types of trim moldings
- Attention to detail with the ability to produce high-quality finishes consistently.
- Valid construction site experience with a focus on safety protocols related to power tools and working at heights if applicable.
Pay: $22.00 - $32.00 per hour
