About Empower Customs
Empower Customs is the apparel and custom-printing arm of Empower Sports, a nonprofit organization providing sports opportunities for athletes with disabilities throughout Northeast Ohio. Through our apparel work, we create quality custom products while providing meaningful employment opportunities and supporting Empower Sports’ mission of Sports for All.
The Opportunity
We are looking for a dependable, detail-oriented Part-Time Apparel Printer to join our team! This position is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on work, has an eye for detail, and wants to gain experience in apparel decoration, production, and a nonprofit/social enterprise environment.
The Apparel Printer will help produce custom apparel orders from start to finish, ensuring that every product meets our quality standards and is completed accurately and on time.
Responsibilities
- Operate apparel printing equipment, including heat presses and other production equipment
- Prepare garments and materials for printing
- Produce custom apparel according to customer specifications
- Carefully review designs, garment sizes, colors, and quantities before production
- Perform quality checks on completed products
- Fold, package, and organize finished orders
- Maintain a clean and organized production area
- Keep track of inventory and notify staff when supplies are running low
- Follow established production and safety procedures
- Assist with other Empower Customs production tasks as needed

- Reliable transportation to downtown Cleveland office
- Strong attention to detail
- Comfortable working independently and following instructions
- Organized and able to manage multiple orders
- Willingness to learn new equipment and production processes
- Ability to work efficiently while maintaining quality
- Previous apparel printing, graphic design, production, or retail experience is a plus, but not required
Schedule
Part-time | Flexible weekly schedule based on orders
Availability on Monday, Wednesday and Thursday, 10am-2pm
