Sarica Manufacturing is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to oversee the maintenance, repair, and reliability of our equipment, facilities, and properties. This role is critical to supporting safe, efficient operations and ensuring our production environment remains in top condition.
The ideal candidate brings strong troubleshooting skills, a proactive mindset, and a sense of urgency when responding to maintenance needs in a manufacturing environment.
Your Responsibilities:
As a Maintenance Technician, you will:
- Equipment Maintenance & Repair: Respond to equipment failures and emergency repairs, diagnose issues, identify root causes, and coordinate timely solutions.
- Preventive Maintenance: Develop, maintain, and communicate preventive maintenance schedules for critical equipment to minimize downtime and maximize reliability.
- Facility & Property Maintenance: Ensure company facilities, equipment, and grounds are well-maintained, safe, and operating efficiently.
- Project & Shutdown Planning: Support major repairs, scheduled shutdowns, and maintenance projects through effective planning and execution.
- Maintenance Coordination: Prioritize and assign work based on operational needs while monitoring quality, efficiency, safety, and documentation.
- Communication & Team Collaboration: Participate in staff meetings, communicate maintenance updates to leadership, and provide excellent service to internal stakeholders.
- Operational Support: Help ensure critical deliveries and plant operations remain on schedule while responding promptly to maintenance requests and concerns.
Your Qualifications:
To excel in this role, you need:
- Minimum of 5 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment
- Strong troubleshooting and root-cause analysis skills, particularly with production equipment
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and respond effectively in a fast-paced environment
- High sense of urgency and willingness to address critical issues as they arise
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Excel, and Word
- Technical degree, apprenticeship, or training in electrical, plumbing, or a skilled trade preferred
