Position Summary
The ideal candidate is a flexible, team-player that will spend 50% of time handling seed deliveries and 50% assisting with day-to-day farm operations. This position requires 2+ years of experience with a valid Class A-CDL and a strong commitment to customer service, and safety.
Responsibilities
Class A-CDL Driver
- Operate company semi to deliver grain to central Illinois elevators in a timely manner.
- Organize orders, load, and unload seed boxes and pallets utilizing a forklift.
- Maintain equipment through routine inspections, cleaning, and basic maintenance.
- Follow all DOT regulations and company safety procedures.
- Maintain accurate and organized records related to deliveries.
- Provide friendly, professional service to customers.
Farm Support
- Assist with daily farm operations, including planting, spraying, harvesting, and equipment preparation.
- Experience with safely operating tractors, planters, sprayers, augers, and other farm equipment.
- Perform routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and minor repairs on farm equipment.
- Identify and communicate equipment issues, safety concerns, and operational needs.
- Keep the shop, equipment, and work areas organized and clean.
- Be a team player with a positive attitude and willingness to assist others where needed.
Qualifications
- 2+ years experience with a valid Class A-CDL.
- Clean driving record.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Experience on-farm operating farm equipment.
- Mechanical aptitude is a must.
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to detail.
- Maintain a professional attitude and represent the company positively.
- Positive attitude and willingness to work extended hours during planting and harvest seasons.

Pay: $24.00 - $26.00 per hour
