About the Role
Berco Jewelry is seeking a highly skilled Bench Jeweler to join our team. The ideal candidate is a skilled craftsperson who takes pride in quality workmanship, attention to detail, and delivering exceptional pieces to our customers.
This position focuses primarily on inspecting and preparing castings, assembly, fixing porosity, and routine bench work, with opportunities to assist in custom projects.
Responsibilities
- Cleaning castings
- Laser welding
- Soldering all karats of gold and platinum alloys
- Ring sizing
- Prong repair and retipping
- Stone tightening and replacement
- Polishing and refinishing
- Inspect jewelry and recommend appropriate repair solutions
- Maintain high standards of craftsmanship and quality control
- Complete work in a timely manner while maintaining accuracy
- Keep the workbench clean, organized, and safe
Qualifications
- 3–5+ years of bench jeweler experience
- Experience using a laser welder
- Ability to work with gold, silver, and platinum
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality craftsmanship
- Good problem-solving skills
- Dependable, self-motivated, and able to work both independently and as part of a team
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with stone setting
- Custom jewelry fabrication experience

Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
