NEYRA Industries is a family-owned company built on a foundation of quality and integrity. We have over 50 years of experience and innovation in the pavement maintenance and athletic surface industry. We are currently looking for an Industrial Maintenance and Welding Manager to join our team.
The Maintenance and Welding Manager is our lead maintenance technician responsible for overseeing maintenance operations, performing advanced mechanical repairs, and executing high-quality welding and fabrication work. This role is responsible for managing all installation, building, repair, and upkeep operations of our company’s facilities. Duties include maintaining machinery, planning repair activities, and developing maintenance procedures. This role also leads maintenance staff, ensures equipment reliability, and supports continuous improvement of facility operations.
Responsibilities
- Lead, train, and supervise maintenance technicians and support staff.
- Maintains the building and facility, including performing repairs and ensuring machines and equipment are kept clean and in proper working condition.
- Plan, schedule, and prioritize preventive and corrective maintenance activities.
- Tracking expenses and overseeing the budget for maintenance.
- Creating and implementing maintenance procedures.
- Conducting regular inspections of the facilities to detect and resolve problems.
- Planning and managing all repair and installation activities.
- Ensuring all work and department employees adhere to the safety policies and procedures.
- Assigning repair schedules and evaluating repair cost estimates.
- Documenting and preparing daily progress reports, work orders, maintenance logs, and inventory of parts and supplies.
- Overseeing equipment stock and placing orders for new supplies when necessary.
- Working with project manager and operations leadership to ensure projects stay on track.
- Diagnose and repair mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems.
- Perform welding and fabrication (MIG) on equipment and structures.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
- Troubleshoot emergency breakdowns and lead rapid response repairs.
- Operate a variety of tools and equipment, including scales, squares, levels, power tools, wrenches, and carpentry tools; safely operate a forklift and perform basic welding tasks.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications and Requirements
- High school diploma or GED (technical certification preferred).
- 5+ years of maintenance experience in industrial, manufacturing, or similar environment
- 3+ years of welding experience (MIG)
- Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, electrical systems, and fabrication techniques
- Proven leadership or supervisory experience
- Ability to read blueprints and technical manuals
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment
- Understanding of pneumatics and hydraulics.
- Knowledge of relative safety standards and willingness to use protective clothing (face-shield, gloves etc.)
- Problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
- Attention to detail and quality workmanship
- Time management and organizational skills
- Ability to read, write and communicate in English.
Preferred Qualifications
- Associate degree in Industrial Maintenance, Welding Technology, or related field
- Welding certifications (e.g., AWS)
- Experience with PLC troubleshooting
- Forklift, scissor lift, or other equipment certifications
Physical Requirements:
Required to bend, kneel, stoop, crawl and climb ladders as well as stairs and other equipment. Required to stand and walk. Maximum unassisted lift = 50lbs. Must be able to stand for long periods of time. Required to communicate with others.
Environmental Requirements:
Inside average factory building – not uniformly heated or air-conditioned. Exposed to dust, oil, grime, smoke, fumes and industrial lubricants. Noise level moderate. Exposed to grinding and welding debris. Required to abide by all OSHAA regulations.

Pay: $75,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
