Description:
DST is seeking experienced OBIEE+ consultants who are willing to travel in the Northeast Region (CT, NY, NJ, PA and DE). Applicants must have a minimum of 3 years hands on experience working with Oracle Hyperion Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) or OBIEE reporting tools and a minimum of 5 years of progressive IT project experience. Previous finance experience is helpful.
Responsibilities:
The consultant may work alone, as part of a DST team or as part of a client managed project team to implement OBIEE+ reporting solutions as a stand-alone project or as part of Hyperion Planning, HFM or Essbase based solutions across many different industries and will help DST clients to maximize the return on their technology investments. Specific responsibilities include:
- Gathering and analyzing business requirements
- Participating in determining standards and best practices as related to financial reporting and analysis
- Designing and implementing reporting solutions involving a variety of source
- Tuning and optimizing existing OBIEE reports
- End user training and knowledge transfer to the client support teams
Required Technical Skills/Experience:
- At least 3 years of OBIEE+ implementation experience
- Overall 5 yrs+ IT experience
- At least 2 years+ consulting experience preferred
- Demonstrated capability to architect, design and build all aspects of a Hyperion Reports, Web Analysis, Interactive Reports, or Answers implementation including creating and managing reports, web grids, and multiple data sources
- Demonstrated capability to successfully integrate the OBIEE EPM products with Oracle and other third party data sources and applications
- Solid understanding of relational database concepts and ability to work with Oracle PL/SQL and/or Microsoft T-SQL
- Solid understanding of Microsoft Windows Server and Unix operating systems

Solid understanding and experience with one or more structured software project lifecycle methodologies

- Experience in data quality issues and ability to investigate and resolve data validation issues
- Strong command of the English language
- Ability to interface with clients at all levels within an organization
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Ability to provide input into project plans including defining tasks and estimating level of effort
- Ability to prioritize and work independently
- Ability to identify project risks and determine when escalation of issues is necessary
- Excellent time management skills and ability to track and report time accurately and timely
- Readiness to travel if need (travelling 3-4 days a week, home on weekends) preferred
