Kennel assistant entry level with room for growth and development with in the veterinary field. The kennel assistant is responsible for giving and maintaining exceptional care to all pets by proper feeding, exercise, and enrichment. Responsibilities will also include maintaining cleanliness thoughout the kennel and common areas of the hospital, restocking supplies, restraining, and assisting technicians and doctor when needed. Applicant must have the abililty to lift up to 50 punds and stand, bend, walk, and perform physical tasks throughout the shift. They need a strong work ethic, reliablity, and attention to detail. Excellent communication and teamwork skills. Someone who has genuine compassion for animals and people. Previous animal care experience is a plus, but not required.
Pay: $11.00 - $15.00 per hour
