Piper Roofing is seeking a dependable, organized, and mechanically skilled Warehouse Logistics Manager to support the day-to-day operations of our commercial roofing team. This hands-on role is responsible for warehouse organization, inventory control, material staging and delivery, and the upkeep of company vehicles and equipment. The ideal candidate is safety-minded, self-motivated, and comfortable balancing warehouse, delivery, and mechanical responsibilities in a fast-paced construction environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain a clean, organized, safe, and efficient warehouse and shop environment.
- Track and manage inventory of roofing materials, tools, equipment, and supplies.
- Receive, organize, and stage materials and equipment for upcoming projects.
- Deliver materials, tools, and equipment to roofing crews and job sites using a company truck.
- Safely load and unload materials, tools, and equipment.
- Perform routine maintenance and basic repairs on small engines, roofing equipment, company trucks, and other machinery.
- Troubleshoot equipment issues and coordinate outside repairs when needed.
- Maintain accurate vehicle and equipment maintenance and service records.
- Safely operate company trucks and trailers for deliveries and job-site support.
- Complete required vehicle, equipment, and crane inspections.
- Follow all company policies and applicable DOT, OSHA, and safety requirements.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in warehouse operations, construction, mechanical repair, equipment maintenance, or a related field preferred.
- Strong mechanical aptitude, including small-engine and equipment repair skills.
- Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record required.
- Commercial Driver's License (CDL) preferred, but not required.
- Ability to safely operate company trucks and trailers.
- Strong organizational, communication, and time-management skills.
- Ability to lift, move, load, and unload construction materials and equipment.
- Dependable, safety-conscious, and able to work independently while supporting a team.
