CRJ Aviation LLC is hiring Ground Operations Agents (GOA) at Asheville Regional Airport. This role is essential to safe and efficient aircraft operations and is well-suited for dependable, safety-focused individuals who enjoy hands-on work and working outdoors.
Ground Operations Agent Responsibilities
- Load and unload baggage and cargo
- Work outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Operate ground service equipment
- Maintain situational awareness around aircraft, vehicles, and passengers
- Follow all safety policies, procedures, and operational guidelines
- Support on-time departures and arrivals through efficient teamwork
Successful GOAs are physically capable, detail-oriented, and committed to performing their duties safely and efficiently.
Minimum Qualifications
Applicants must:
- Be at least 18 years old
- Have a high school diploma or GED
- Possess a valid driver’s license
- Be authorized to work in the United States
- Pass a post-offer background check (including fingerprinting and criminal history review)
- Pass a post-offer drug test
- Be able to frequently lift up to 50 lbs and occasionally up to 100 lbs
- Possess basic computer skills
- Demonstrate strong verbal communication skills
- Be willing to work a rotating schedule, including afternoons, evenings, weekends, split shifts, delays, and some holidays
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $20.00 per hour
