Overview
We are seeking a motivated Residential Lawn Specialist Aerator to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will focus on aerating residential lawns to improve soil health and promote lush, vibrant grass growth. Your expertise will help create thriving outdoor environments for our clients while adhering to safety protocols and operational standards.
Duties
- Operate aeration equipment and ground maintenance tools safely and efficiently across residential properties
- Assess lawn conditions to determine the appropriate aeration techniques and schedules
- Perform routine landscape maintenance tasks such as mowing, edging, and basic gardening as needed
- Identify various plants, grasses, pests, and signs of disease to support overall lawn health
- Maintain equipment through regular inspections, cleaning, and minor repairs using hand tools and power tools
- Follow safety protocols diligently during all outdoor work activities to ensure personal and team safety
- Assist with other grounds maintenance tasks including irrigation system checks, tree trimming, and hardscape upkeep when required
Skills
- Mechanical knowledge for operating and maintaining lawn care equipment and power tools
- Experience with landscape maintenance, gardening, and groundskeeping practices
- Ability to identify different plants, grasses, pests, and signs of disease or damage
- Knowledge of irrigation systems, pesticide management, and horticulture principles
- Strong understanding of safety procedures related to outdoor work environments
- Hands-on experience with grounds maintenance equipment operation including mowers, trimmers, aerators, and snow plows if applicable
- Excellent teamwork skills with a focus on delivering high-quality lawn care services in residential settings
Pay: From $16.50 per hour
