We are looking for a kind and caring staff to work in our home with our 12-year-old son. He enjoys spending time on the computer, Rubik’s cubes, sports, videogames, chess and math.
The staff would be at home with the 12-year-old to provide an additional layer of support for him to interact with his younger siblings. Staff would spend one-on-one time with him, help him regulate emotions, do activities, etc. Staff would possibly take him to local community places like the library or the park.
Job Requirements:
- Experience working with childcare, particularly with teens
- Ability to help individual follow a routine
- Ability to drive and clean driving record
- Must be able to pass DOJ background check
- Reliable
- Able to get to client’s home in Santa Clarita
Job Type: Part-time
Salary: $35 per hour
Schedule:
- Monday-Friday, 3 hours per day, between the hours of 9am to 9pm
Education:
- High school or equivalent (Preferred)
Experience:
- Caregiving: 1 year (Required)
