Job Summary

Duties
- Assist bartenders by restocking bar supplies, garnishes, glassware, and beverages swiftly and accurately.
- Maintain cleanliness of the bar area through regular cleaning, sanitizing surfaces, and proper waste disposal.
- Buss tables and clear used glassware or dishes promptly to ensure a tidy environment.
- Handle manual tasks such as heavy lifting of supplies and equipment with proper technique to ensure safety.
- Support food preparation activities when needed, including basic food handling and safety compliance.
- Manage bar inventory by tracking stock levels using POS (Point of Sale) systems like Micros POS or Aloha POS.
- Ensure adherence to food service bar safety standards and alcohol regulations at all times.
- Communicate effectively with team members to coordinate service flow during busy hours.
- Assist with venue beverage service during events such as banquets or catering functions.
- Support cash handling procedures when required, including cashiering duties using POS systems.
Skills
- Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments, especially within bars or venues serving beverages.
- Strong cleaning skills with knowledge of sanitation standards applicable to bars and food handling areas.
- Ability to perform physical tasks including heavy lifting and manual handling safely and efficiently.
- Excellent communication skills to interact positively with team members and guests.
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS or Aloha POS for order processing and inventory management.
- Previous experience in catering, banquet service, or hotel hospitality is advantageous.
- Knowledge of food industry safety standards and alcohol service regulations.
- Customer service orientation with a friendly attitude that enhances guest experience.
- Basic math skills for cash handling, order calculations, and inventory tracking.
- Experience working in high-volume venues or large-scale events like banquets is preferred.

Pay: $23.65 - $28.49 per hour
