In this fast-paced role, you will be responsible for maintaining a spotless and organized kitchen environment, ensuring all dishes, utensils, and cookware are cleaned efficiently and promptly. Your energetic approach will support our culinary team by providing a clean foundation for food preparation, service, and catering events. Duties
- Wash, sanitize, and organize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, and pans using commercial dishwashing equipment or manual methods
- Assist with basic food preparation tasks such as chopping vegetables or assembling ingredients for kitchen staff
- Bring dirty glassware/barware from the bar area to the kitchen, and return clean glassware/barware to the bar area throughout service hours
- Support catering and banquet setups by ensuring all serving ware is clean and ready for use
- Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen area by sweeping, mopping, and disposing of waste appropriately
- Follow food handling and safety procedures to ensure hygiene standards are met at all times
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth flow during busy service periods
- Restock dishwashing supplies and ensure all cleaning stations are well-organized and stocked
Experience
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred but not required; enthusiasm to learn is key!
- Familiarity with food handling safety standards and sanitation practices is a plus
- Experience in banquet or catering settings can be advantageous for supporting large-scale events
- Basic understanding of kitchen operations including bussing, food prep, and serving roles enhances your versatility
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physically demanding tasks with energy and efficiency
- Ability to lift and carry up to 25 lbs

Pay: $15.00 - $21.00 per hour
