Job Summary

Responsibilities

- Facilitate access to community resources, services, and programs, including housing, healthcare, and education.
- Advocate for clients in various settings, including schools, healthcare facilities, and legal environments.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care for clients.
- Maintain accurate and confidential client records, documenting progress and interventions.
- Participate in training and professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge.
- Stay informed about current trends and best practices in social work and community services.
- Provide crisis intervention and support as needed.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Social Work (BSW) or related field; a Master’s degree in Social Work (MSW) is preferred.
- Valid state licensure or certification as a Social Worker.
- Previous experience in social work or a related field is highly desirable.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients.
- Knowledge of community resources and services available to clients.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and ethical standards in practice.
- Proficiency in using computer software for documentation and reporting.
- Flexibility to work evenings or weekends as needed to accommodate client schedules.
