ING Civil Inc. is a heavy highway contractor, working primarily in the bridge construction industry. We are looking for skilled laborers and carpenters for immediate, long term hire. Our work area is in upstate NY, greater capital region. We have active projects in Franklin, St. Lawrence, Jefferson, Washington, Saratoga, Albany, Tioga, Broome, Otsego, and Sullivan Counties. Travel is mandatory, and the responsibility of the employee, therefore reliable vehicle and ability to do overnights when necessary is required.
*Responsibilities*
* Operate and handle hand and power tools for carpentry, and general construction tasks on heavy highway projects.
* Read plans and related documents; measure, cut, and assemble formwork.
* Set up and work with concrete forms, rebar, and basic fabrication.
* Maintain safety standards, including OSHA 10 guidelines; use appropriate rigging and personal protective equipment; report hazards.
* Clean, organize, and maintain tools and job sites; coordinate with team members and supervisors for efficient workflow.
Our preferred applicants will:
- Possess an OSHA 10 hour certificate
- Be able to read and interpret plans
- Have experience in forming, reinforcement, and placement of concrete
- Have their own hand tools
- Be familiar with heavy equipment operation
- Be able to properly rig materials during lifting procedures

Pay: $35.00 - $65.00 per hour
