Job Summary
We are seeking an energetic and personable Bartender to join our vibrant hospitality team. Duties
- Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages with precision and flair, adhering to recipes and presentation standards.
- Engage with guests in a friendly, professional manner to enhance their overall experience.
- Manage POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for order entry, billing, and cash handling efficiently and accurately.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area in compliance with food safety and sanitation standards.
- Monitor guest behavior to promote responsible drinking and ensure safety at all times.
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and cashiering responsibilities.
- Restock bar supplies, ingredients, glassware, and utensils as needed to ensure smooth service flow.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff during catering or banquet events to coordinate food and beverage service seamlessly.
- Uphold all food safety regulations related to food handling, serving, and alcohol service.
- Use time management skills to prioritize tasks during busy shifts while maintaining high-quality service standards.
Experience
- Previous experience working as a bartender in a fast-paced environment such as a nightclub, fine dining restaurant, or banquet hall is highly preferred.
- Demonstrated proficiency with POS systems including Aloha POS and Micros POS.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests professionally and courteously.
- Knowledge of food safety practices related to food handling and beverage service.
- Experience with serving alcohol responsibly while promoting responsible drinking habits.
- Familiarity with retail math for cash handling and basic math skills for accurate billing and transactions.
- Experience in catering or large event settings such as banquets is a plus.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently using excellent time management skills.
