The Park Host program is a volunteer assignment under the Tulare County General Services Agency – Parks Division. Park Hosts provide an on-site presence to assist with visitor information, facility oversight, and daily park operations.
EXAMPLE OF DUTIES
- Greet Park visitors and provide information about park rules, facilities, and the surrounding area.
- Monitor Park grounds for safety, cleanliness, and compliance with County regulations.
- Report maintenance issues, vandalism, and security concerns to Park staff.
- Open and close Park gates and assist with restroom and common-area upkeep.
- Support County staff by maintaining a positive and welcoming environment for visitors.
- Be available after hours in case of emergencies or public-safety situations.
