We are seeking a skilled Electrical Engineer to join our team, specializing in the design and implementation of electrical systems for water and wastewater treatment plants. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating innovative, efficient electrical solutions to support the treatment processes and ensure compliance with safety and regulatory requirements.
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
5+ years as an electrical engineer
- Proven experience in electrical design for water and wastewater treatment plants or similar industrial settings.
- Semiconductor industry experience strongly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of electrical codes, standards, and regulations.
- Proficiency in electrical design software and tools
- Design, develop, and maintain electrical systems for water and wastewater treatment facilities.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including mechanical, civil, and environmental engineers, to ensure integrated project designs.
- Create detailed electrical schematics for equipment including switchgears and motor control centers.
- Ensure compliance with applicable codes, regulations, and industry standards (e.g., NEC,etc..).
- Prepare technical documentation, including design reports, project specifications, and operation manuals.
- Provide support for project management, including budgeting, scheduling, and resource allocation.
- Conduct site inspections and troubleshooting of existing electrical systems to ensure operational efficiency.
- Stay up to date with emerging technologies and best practices in electrical engineering for water and wastewater applications.
