Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and safety-conscious Hazmat Tanker Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting liquid cardo in a conventional truck pulling a tanker, ensuring the safe and timely delivery of products to various locations. This position requires a strong commitment to safety regulations and excellent driving skills.
Duties
- Safely operate tanker trucks equipped for hazardous materials, adhering strictly to all safety regulations and company policies
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles, including checking for leaks, proper labeling, and compliance with safety standards
- Unload product, ensuring proper handling and securing of materials.
- Maintain accurate documentation of delivery logs, safety reports, and route records
- Drive assigned routes efficiently while following all traffic laws and safety protocols to ensure timely deliveries
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and emergency responders when necessary during transit or in case of incidents
Requirements
- Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with endorsements for tanker vehicles and hazmat transportation
- Proven 2 years experience in truck driving, with one year experience with tanker trailers within the last 5 years. Chemical experience is a plus.
- Familiarity with loading procedures
- Knowledge of safety procedures related to transporting hazardous materials and compliance with Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations
- Ability to perform route driving efficiently while maintaining high safety standards

Pay: $1,500.00 - $2,500.00 per week
