JOB SUMMARY: The Aquatic Manager is responsible for overseeing and leading all aquatic staff to uphold the consistent delivery of high-quality swim instruction aligned with Aqua-Tots Core Values and curriculum standards. The Aquatic Manager ensures a safe, welcoming environment while maintaining brand standards and delivering exceptional customer service.
POSITION TYPE:

· Days and hours will vary based on the school’s needs. Saturday’s required.
AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY:
· Ensure Aquatic Staff adheres to the Aqua-Tots Core Values during all staff and customer interactions
· Ensure the aquatic safety of all staff and customers
· Communicate effectively with staff and customers
· Model performance standards
· Maintain a high level of customer engagement and ensure customer satisfaction in aquatics
· Manage class schedules within the POS system
· Manage In-Water Evaluations to ensure conversion goals are met
· Manage progression of all students
· Oversee hiring and training of Aquatic Staff
· Host annual and quarterly reviews for Aquatic Staff
· Maintain and document Aquatic Staff certifications
· Manage Aquatic Staff schedules
· Build a team environment and promote the Aqua-Tots culture among Aquatic Staff
· Host monthly Aquatic Staff meetings and in-service trainings
· Manage monthly Master Instructor meetings and Deck Supervisor meetings
· Assess Aquatic Staff’s swim lessons to ensure the correct curriculum is being taught and provide timely feedback
· Maintain pool environment to ensure adherence to the Aqua-Tots brand standard in safety, cleanliness, and overall appearance
· Assist with planning and hosting quarterly team-building activities
· Respond to any customer service issues related to instructors or curriculum
· Follow up with curriculum- or instructor-related student withdrawals
· Carry out any other tasks to support team objectives that are assigned by your lead as required

· General Manager
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
· High School Graduate or GED equivalent
· At least 18 years of age
· Valid driver’s license
· Open availability
· Customer service skills
· Administrative skills
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills
· Strong report writing and presentation skills
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
· 1-2 years of management experience
· Previous aquatic experience
· Customer service experience
· Previous experience working with children (coaching, camp counselor, teacher, etc.)
· Experience fostering a positive and inclusive team culture that aligns with company values
Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
