Key Responsibilities:
- Sort, wash, dry, fold, and press linens, towels, etc. according to hotel standards
- Operate and maintain laundry equipment safely and efficiently
- Inspect linens for stains, damage, or wear and report issues as needed
- Apply appropriate cleaning chemicals and techniques for different fabric types
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the laundry area
- Track and manage inventory of linens and laundry supplies
- Assist with distribution of clean laundry to housekeeping and other departments
- Respond to guest laundry requests in a timely and professional manner
- Follow all safety, sanitation, and infection control policies
Qualifications:
- Previous laundry, housekeeping, or hotel experience is a plus
- Ability to operate industrial laundry equipment
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand for long periods of time
- Frequent lifting, pushing, and pulling of up to 50 lbs
- Ability to work in a warm, humid environment
Work Environment:
- Fast-paced hotel laundry facility
- Exposure to cleaning chemicals and high-temperature equipment
- May require weekend, evening, and holiday shifts
Pay: From $17.13 per hour
