Duties:
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and equipment in industrial and oil/gas settings
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to determine the layout of electrical systems
- Test electrical systems and components to ensure they are functioning properly
- Troubleshoot electrical issues and make necessary repairs or replacements
- Perform preventive maintenance on electrical systems to ensure optimal performance
- Collaborate with other team members to complete projects on time and within budget
- Adhere to safety protocols and regulations while working with high voltage equipment
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Completion of an apprenticeship program or relevant certification preferred
- Proven experience as an industrial electrician or similar role
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, codes, and regulations
- Proficiency in blueprint reading and interpreting technical drawings
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
