ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: other duties may be assigned.
It is essential the following duties and responsibilities have a People First approach as “This Company Runs on People:”
- Use data analysis, production capacity experience and decision making to schedule and direct factory operations.
- Respond to, communicate, and resolve operational curtailments and hardships.
- Develop and train coworkers on inventory transaction best practices and common errors and how to prevent them.
- Be a leader for the 6S program.
- Manage at least two 6S audit areas.
- Perform and train others in quality assessment equipment and measuring techniques including gaging, TIR, centerlines, contour tracer, CMM, SPC, Surfometer.
- Set up, purchase materials and maintain Kanban and point of use (POU) systems. Establish and direct Kanban replenishment methods such as instruction sheets and AR supplies.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
- Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
