Duties
- Support food preparation activities, including assembling ingredients and ensuring quality standards are met
- Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process sales transactions accurately and efficiently
- Manage customer orders with professionalism, ensuring quick turnaround and satisfaction
- Assist with food handling, sanitation, and maintaining a clean workspace in compliance with food safety regulations
- Process cash transactions, handle cash register operations, and perform retail sales transactions with precision
- Operate kitchen equipment safely and effectively to support food service operations
- Contribute to upselling efforts by recommending menu items and promotions to enhance sales opportunities
Skills
- Previous experience in quick service or fast food restaurant environments preferred
- Strong knowledge of POS systems including Aloha POS and Micros POS
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with guests
- Ability to manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure prompt service
- Basic math skills for cash handling, processing transactions, and inventory management
- Familiarity with food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures
- Effective communication skills and teamwork orientation to support daily operations
