Duties
- Perform comprehensive diagnostics using automotive diagnostic tools to identify issues with engines, transmissions, electrical systems, suspension, and other vehicle components
- Conduct repairs on powertrain systems, ensuring optimal performance and longevity
- Interpret automotive wiring diagrams and schematics to accurately troubleshoot electrical and electronic systems such as ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems) and automotive electrical systems
- Repair or replace vehicle suspension components, wheel bearings, and steering systems to ensure safety and handling standards are met
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, and specialized automotive tools to execute repairs efficiently and safely
- Conduct routine vehicle maintenance including oil changes, brake service, tire rotations, and fluid replacements
- Document all repairs accurately for auto estimating purposes while maintaining high-quality service standards for customer satisfaction
Skills
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting automotive schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals
- Solid knowledge of vehicle systems including powertrain, transmission, electrical wiring, suspension, steering, brakes, and ADAS technology
- Hands-on experience with automotive diagnostic tools and software for precise troubleshooting
- Mechanical knowledge combined with the ability to use hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and other maintenance devices effectively
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate complex technical information clearly to clients
- Familiarity with auto estimating procedures and experience working on GM vehicles or similar brands is a plus

Pay: $18.00 - $35.00 per hour
