VFI seeks an experienced, professional VTC Technician Level I for a complex, multi-year contract to support the Air Force Reserve Command (AFRC) Information Technology (IT) Services.
Note: All candidates must possess an active DoD Secret clearance
Location: Robins AFB/Warner Robins, GA
Schedule: Monday – Friday, weekends as needed
Travel: Minimal, less than 10%
Duties and Responsibilities:

Provide Video Conferencing support.

Receive VTC requests; schedule, coordinate, and facilitate secure and non-secure VTC sessions.

Provide senior-level presentation support for up to twelve (12) HQ AFRC VTC-enabled conference rooms at various locations around the base.

Provide technical support to customers on presentation capabilities of VTC systems and requirements of the conference rooms.

Assist in the scheduling of conference rooms for presentation support.
- Assist with the setup of VTC sessions on the VTC hub.
- Perform onsite installations, configure the hardware and software for the appropriate telecommunications service, and test for connectivity and operability.
- Conduct basic troubleshooting and coordinate with VTC Operations Chief on any issues which require resolution; includes testing with other AF units.

Configure systems, multimedia devices and peripheral equipment.

Support on-site maintenance from vendors.

Perform minor (Lowest Replaceable Unit (LRU) component) equipment installs and assist with vendor-managed installation.

Provide input to on-site contract manager as required to support deliverables.

Participate in Government program/project reviews, technical meetings, and briefings.

Enroll in and complete Government and contractor-mandated training, as required.
Requirements and Qualifications:

At least one (1) year of experience as a VTC Technician, preferably in a DoD enterprise environment.
- Ability to independently lift 30 pounds.
- Associate degree in an A/V or IT discipline preferred.
- Capabilities needed to deliver exceptionally responsive, respectful, and professional technical in-person support to users of differing technical skills.
- Superior customer service skills.
- Excellent time management skills.
