We are currently seeking an experienced Maintenance Supervisor to oversee the day-to-day maintenance operations of our apartment communities. This is a hands-on leadership position requiring strong technical knowledge, organization, and the ability to lead by example.
Work Locations:
Travel Required: This position requires travel between our sister properties as needed. Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license are required.
What You'll Do
- Supervise and perform daily maintenance operations.
- Coordinate work orders and preventative maintenance.
- Troubleshoot and complete plumbing, electrical, carpentry, appliance, and general building repairs.
- HVAC/PTAC experience is a plus but not required.
- Ensure apartments are move-in ready and property standards are maintained.
- Manage maintenance schedules, vendors, inventory, and workflow.
- Respond to emergency maintenance calls and participate in the on-call rotation.
- Work closely with the property management team to provide excellent resident service.
What We're Looking For
✔ Previous apartment maintenance experience
✔ Leadership or supervisory experience preferred
✔ Knowledge of plumbing, electrical, carpentry, drywall, painting, and general repairs
✔ HVAC/PTAC experience is a plus
✔ Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
✔ Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
✔ Positive attitude with excellent customer service skills
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- Valid Driver's License
- Reliable transportation (travel between sister properties required)
- Own hand and service tools
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screening
- Ability to pass a criminal background check
- Ability to participate in an on-call rotation
- Available Monday-Friday with occasional weekends as needed
