Smart Recovery Technologies is seeking a motivated, relationship-driven Medical Sales Representative to expand market adoption of our innovative, FDA-cleared recovery and rehabilitation solutions. This individual will be responsible for developing new business opportunities, managing key accounts, and driving revenue growth across Workers' Compensation, Personal Injury, Veterans Affairs (VA), Department of Labor, Orthopedic, Pain Management, Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation, and DME channels.
The ideal candidate is a self-starter with a proven track record in medical sales, strong clinical acumen, and the ability to navigate complex referral networks and healthcare reimbursement environments.
Key ResponsibilitiesBusiness Development & Sales
- Develop and execute a territory business plan to achieve and exceed sales objectives.
- Identify, prospect, and secure new referral sources and strategic accounts.
- Build relationships with physicians, practice administrators, case managers, adjusters, nurse case managers, employers, attorneys, and ancillary healthcare providers.
- Generate product demand through education, clinical presentations, and in-service training.
- Conduct product demonstrations and patient fittings as needed.
- Maintain a robust pipeline of opportunities and effectively manage sales activities through CRM.
Workers' Compensation & Personal Injury Market Development
- Develop relationships with:
- Workers' Compensation physicians
- Orthopedic surgeons
- Pain management specialists
- Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation physicians
- Nurse Case Managers
- Adjusters
- Third-Party Administrators (TPAs)
- Employers and Occupational Health Clinics
- Educate stakeholders on clinical outcomes, return-to-work benefits, and cost savings associated with Smart Recovery Technologies' solutions.
VA & Government Accounts
- Develop and maintain relationships within VA Medical Centers and Community Care Networks.
- Identify opportunities within federal healthcare systems and veteran-focused programs.
- Support product adoption through clinical education and stakeholder engagement.
Account Management
- Maintain and grow existing customer relationships.
- Deliver exceptional customer service and follow-through.
- Collaborate with clinical, operations, and reimbursement teams to ensure a positive customer experience.
- Provide market intelligence and competitive insights to leadership.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree preferred.
- Minimum of 2+ years of medical device, DME, pharmaceutical, rehabilitation, or healthcare sales experience.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales goals.
- Experience calling on physicians, clinics, hospitals, rehabilitation centers, or Workers' Compensation stakeholders preferred.
- Strong presentation and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage a large geographic territory.
- Proficiency with CRM systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Valid driver's license and ability to travel within assigned territory.
