Shift Lead – Spud Fish & Chips
Ready to lead the charge at a local legend? Spud Fish & Chips—family-owned and hand-battering the Northwest’s favorite fish since 1935—is looking for a rockstar Shift Lead to help run the show. Serious applicants only please. If you love high-energy shifts, happy guests, and being the steady hand when the rush hits… this is your moment. You’ll be the heartbeat of your shift—part motivator, part organizer, part problem-solver—making sure every plate goes out hot and every guest leaves smiling.
- Set the vibe: create a fun, welcoming experience for every guest
- Lead the team and keep service smooth and efficient
- Train and coach new team members the Spud way
- Handle register transactions and keep the till dialed in
- Jump in on prep and cooking (we lead from the front!)
- Manage mid and closing shifts, including cash handling and securing the restaurant
- Positive energy and natural leadership
- Strong communication skills
- Cool head under pressure
- Leadership experience is a plus (but hustle and heart matter more)
- Food service experience helpful
- Valid MAST permit & Food Handler’s card (or willingness to get them)
- Flexible full-time or part-time schedules
- Opening, mid, and closing shifts available
