Schedule
- Full-Time
- Monday-Friday
- 8-hour shifts
- No evenings or weekends

What You'll Do
As a Community Coach, you'll provide person-centered support while helping participants experience meaningful involvement in their communities.
Responsibilities include:
- Supporting participants as they volunteer, learn new skills, and achieve personal goals.
- Planning and participating in fun, engaging community outings and activities.
- Building relationships with local businesses and organizations to create volunteer opportunities.
- Assisting participants with daily living skills and personal care when needed.
- Encouraging independence while respecting each person's choices, rights, and dignity.
- Providing transportation to community activities.
- Documenting participant progress and maintaining accurate daily records.
- Implementing positive behavior support strategies.
- Working as part of a collaborative and supportive team.
What a Typical Day Might Look Like
Every day is different! You may:
- Volunteer with participants at a local nonprofit.
- Help someone practice budgeting while shopping.
- Attend a community fitness class or recreational activity.
- Support participants as they work toward personal goals.
- Celebrate milestones and accomplishments along the way.

Qualifications
Required
- High School Diploma or GED
- Valid driver's license
- Current automobile insurance
Preferred
- Experience working with individuals with disabilities or in human services
- CNA or CBRF certification

Physical Requirements
This position requires the ability to:
- Walk, stand, bend, reach, and lift up to 35 pounds.
- Assist participants with mobility and personal care when needed.
- Work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Safely assist participants using proper body mechanics.
