Duties
- Supervise daily operations of landscaping crews, ensuring efficient completion of projects with precision and attention to detail
- Coordinate landscape maintenance activities including mowing, pruning, planting, fertilizing, and pest control to maintain vibrant and healthy outdoor spaces
- Oversee irrigation system installation, repair, and maintenance to optimize water efficiency and plant health
- Lead construction projects such as garden bed creation, pathway installation, and outdoor structures with a focus on quality and safety standards
- Provide guidance on horticulture practices, including plant selection, soil management, and tree care to promote sustainable growth
- Monitor team performance, provide training opportunities in landscaping techniques and safety protocols
- Conduct site inspections to ensure compliance with environmental regulations and company standards
Requirements
- Proven experience supervising landscape maintenance or landscaping teams with strong leadership skills
- Knowledge of lawn care techniques, gardening practices, horticulture principles, and tree care methodologies
- Hands-on experience with irrigation systems installation and maintenance
- Background in construction or outdoor project management preferred
- Familiarity with safety regulations related to landscaping and construction sites
- Excellent communication skills for coordinating with clients and team members
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining high-quality standards
