A retired couple is seeking an experienced Temporary Private Chef to support them in their Aspen home from approximately July 20, 2026 through September 2026. This role is for the duration of the time they will be spending in their Aspen residence and will focus on elevated, healthy, well-prepared meals in a private home setting.
The ideal candidate will be polished, professional, organized, and experienced working as a Private Chef for private families or individuals. The couple is looking for someone who can prepare high-quality meals, understand their preferences, and create a smooth, thoughtful dining experience while they are in residence.
There may also be an opportunity for this role to continue in the couple’s Florida home if the Chef would be open to relocation. If relocation is not of interest, the position would remain a temporary assignment for the duration of their stay in Aspen.
Responsibilities Include:
Prepare lunch and dinner 5–6 days per week for the couple
Prepare breakfasts and some lunches so they are ready and easily available when needed. Dinner will be served and prepared at the home.
Create menus based on the couple’s preferences, dietary needs, and schedule
Prepare fresh, seasonal, high-quality meals with excellent presentation
Grocery shop, source quality ingredients, and maintain kitchen inventory
Keep the kitchen clean, organized, stocked, and properly reset after meal preparation
Adjust menus and meal timing based on the couple’s schedule and preferences
Maintain discretion, professionalism, and a calm, refined presence in the home
Ideal Candidate:
Has prior experience as a Private Chef in a private home or similar high-end environment
Is comfortable preparing daily meals for a retired couple in a private residence
Can prepare healthy, fresh, flavorful meals that are elevated but not overly formal
Has strong menu planning, grocery shopping, and kitchen organization skills
Is proactive, detail-oriented, and able to work independently
Understands the importance of discretion and professionalism in a private home
Is available from approximately July 20, 2026 through September 2026 in Aspen
Would ideally be open to a potential longer-term opportunity in Florida, though this is not required
This is an excellent temporary opportunity for an experienced Private Chef who enjoys working in a private home setting and providing personalized, high-quality meals for a couple during their time in Aspen.
