Preschool Teacher (4-Year-Old Classroom)
The World of Discovery Early Learning Center is seeking a qualified, enthusiastic teacher to help lead our 4-year-old preschool classroom.
We are looking for an ambitious, energetic, and dedicated educator who is passionate about early childhood education and wants to become part of a supportive team in a well-established center with an excellent reputation and over 30 years of service to families in our community.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure compliance with all state licensing regulations and center policies.
- Collaborate with fellow teachers to create and implement a stimulating, developmentally appropriate curriculum.
- Foster a nurturing, engaging, and positive classroom environment.
- Maintain daily communication with families through our childcare app, including activity updates and observations.
- Assist in creating monthly classroom newsletters.
- Complete daily classroom cleaning and organization tasks.
- Promote children's social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development through hands-on learning experiences.
Qualifications:
Lead Teacher:
- Minimum of 18 Early Childhood Education (ECE) credits or
- Current Child Development Associate (CDA) credential that qualifies you as a Lead Teacher under New Hampshire regulations.
Associate Teacher:
- Minimum of 9 ECE credits or
- Meet current New Hampshire state requirements for Associate Teacher qualifications.
