Member Duties : Member duties include trail construction, maintenance, and restoration; improving recreational infrastructure like signage, campsites, and visitor-use areas; monitoring and assessing sites by collecting field data and reporting maintenance needs; mapping trails or resources with GPS/GIS; engaging visitors with orientation, safety guidance, and educational info; collecting and managing data on natural resources, water quality, or recreational use; assisting with project planning and site surveys; maintaining records of project work and field observations; and supporting outreach or volunteer events that encourage stewardship and responsible recreation.
