About us
Independently run cafe bakery in the harbor district seeks a full-time baker. We are looking for a friendly, hard-working and adaptable person, and we pride ourselves on a warm and inclusive atmosphere. Experience is required for this position.
Responsibilities include (but are not limited to) bread making, production of laminated doughs, and mixing/baking of various other things like cookies, bars and granola. Weekend availability is required.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience working as a baker in a restaurant or bakery setting
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow recipes accurately
- Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Physical stamina to stand for long periods of time and lift up to 50 lbs
