Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and energetic Daycare Teacher to join our vibrant early childhood education team. In this role, you will create a nurturing, engaging, and safe environment where young children can explore, learn, and grow. Your primary focus will be to implement developmentally appropriate activities, foster positive behavior, and support each child's individual needs. Responsibilities
- Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum plans that promote literacy, math, physical education, and overall child development.
- Provide attentive toddler care and preschool instruction, ensuring each child's emotional and physical safety.
- Manage classroom activities to maintain a positive learning environment through effective classroom management and behavior management strategies.
- Communicate regularly with parents and guardians about their child's progress, milestones, and any concerns.
- Follow mandated reporting laws to ensure child welfare and safety are prioritized at all times.
- Incorporate special education techniques and early intervention strategies to support children with diverse learning needs.
- Conduct assessments using standardized testing methods to monitor developmental progress and tailor lesson plans accordingly.
Experience
- Prior experience working with children in a daycare, preschool, or early childhood education setting is required.
- Demonstrated knowledge of childhood development principles, curriculum development, and classroom management techniques.
- Experience teaching physical education, literacy education, math, and other core subjects to young children is preferred.
- Familiarity with child welfare policies, first aid and CPR certification is essential for ensuring a safe environment.
- Proven ability to communicate effectively with children, parents, colleagues, and community partners.
- Experience working with students who have special needs or require early intervention services is highly valued.
- Previous private school or preschool teaching experience will be considered an asset.

Pay: $21.94 - $26.42 per hour
