We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Deli Associate to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service while preparing and serving deli products in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and assist them with their deli orders, ensuring a positive shopping experience.
- Prepare and serve deli items including meats, cheeses, salads, and sandwiches according to food safety guidelines.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the deli area, including bussing tables and cleaning surfaces.
- Monitor inventory levels and assist with restocking products as needed to ensure availability.
- Adhere to all food safety protocols to maintain a safe and sanitary work environment.
- Collaborate with team members to meet sales goals and provide excellent customer service.
- Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues promptly and professionally.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a grocery store, café, or quick service fast food restaurant is preferred but not required.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with customers.
- Knowledge of food safety practices is highly desirable.
- Excellent time management skills to efficiently handle multiple tasks in a busy environment.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while also being self-motivated.
- A willingness to learn new skills related to food preparation and sales is essential.
