Position Responsibilities
Our Home Delivery Program Driver’s Assistant job involves helping the driver load and unload goods, assisting with navigation, and providing customer service during deliveries. Key responsibilities include ensuring products are delivered safely and on time, assisting with assembly or installation, and maintaining a clean and organized workspace and vehicle. The assistant's role is crucial for ensuring customer satisfaction and the efficiency of the delivery process.
Core responsibilities
- Loading and unloading: Assist the driver in safely loading and unloading merchandise, equipment, and packages from the delivery vehicle.
- Navigation: Help the driver with directions, maps, or GPS to ensure the delivery team follows the most efficient route.
- Customer service: Greet customers, deliver products to their designated areas, and provide a positive customer experience.
- Product handling: Assist with inspecting products for damage, securing them properly for transport, and sometimes assembling or installing them at the customer's location.
- Documentation: Accurately record delivery information and obtain customer signatures, often using a mobile device or paperwork.
- Warehouse duties: Help with other tasks as needed, such as organizing the warehouse or preparing items for delivery.

Pay: $15.00 per hour
