Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced, highly organized, and driven Construction Project Manager to oversee residential remodeling and construction projects from pre-construction through final completion.
This individual will be responsible for coordinating schedules, managing subcontractors, maintaining project budgets, ensuring quality control, and delivering an outstanding experience for our clients.
This is a leadership position with significant growth opportunities within our company.
ResponsibilitiesProject Management
- Manage multiple residential construction projects simultaneously
- Develop and maintain project schedules
- Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and inspections
- Ensure projects remain on schedule and within budget
- Conduct regular site visits and project meetings
- Review plans, specifications, and scopes of work
Client Communication
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients during construction
- Provide regular project updates
- Address client concerns and resolve issues promptly
- Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction
Quality Control
- Inspect work throughout all phases of construction
- Ensure projects meet company quality standards
- Verify compliance with building codes and safety requirements
- Manage punch lists and project closeout
Financial Oversight
- Review project costs and budgets
- Approve material orders and subcontractor invoices
- Track change orders and project profitability
- Assist with estimating and scope reviews when needed
QualificationsRequired
- Minimum 5 years of residential construction project management experience
- Strong understanding of residential remodeling and construction practices
- Ability to read and interpret plans and specifications
- Experience managing subcontractors and trade schedules
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Proficiency with computers and project management software
Preferred
- Experience with kitchens, bathrooms, basements, additions, and custom homes
- Experience with Buildertrend or similar project management software
- Knowledge of local building codes and permitting processes
