State Farm Insurance Agency seeks an Insurance Licensed Customer Service Rep-State Farm Agent Team Member to support existing customers and help grow the agency through value-based relationship conversations with existing and prospective clients. This role focuses on inbound and outbound customer contacts, outreach, relationship maintenance, and proactive inbound/outbound conversations to drive retention and sales.
Prior insurance licensing or experience is a plus but not mandatory. We don’t focus on your GPA or degrees—what matters most is your positivity, strong work ethic, ability to connect with clients, coachability, willingness to receive feedback, and your ability to learn quickly.

Responsibilities:
- Contact customers for renewals, coverage options, and ongoing support
- Review policies/accounts and recommend updates to address coverage gaps
- Cross-sell additional products based on customer needs
- Identify opportunities to improve satisfaction and engagement
- Provide timely quotes and follow up within the same business day when possible
- Maintain accurate customer records and documentation
- Prioritize and manage workflow to ensure efficient, accurate processing
- Represent the agency at occasional community events
- Build a referral network center of influence and generate leads
- Create and contribute to customer reviews (including social media)
Qualifications:
- Illinois Property & Casualty and Life & Health Insurance Licenses required (must possess or be able to acquire asap)
- Insurance agency knowledge and experience helpful
- Strong communication skills (verbal + written) and persuasive customer conversations
- Natural relationship-builder—friendly, empathetic, and patient
- Calm under pressure; proactive problem-solver
- Coachable with a positive, “can-do” attitude
- Reliable, strong work ethic, and fast learner
- Comfortable handling phone/computer work all day
Prefer candidates who are within a 30-minute commute to our office.

Office hours: Mon–Fri, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM (no evenings/no weekends)
