We are seeking a Maintenance Tech to lead the maintenance operations of our Virginia Properties. This role ensures the successful completion of daily work orders, capital improvement projects, and unit turns, while also empowering and directing site-level maintenance teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee all aspects of maintenance operations across the assigned region.
- Manage and prioritize daily work orders to ensure timely completion and resident satisfaction.
- Coordinate and track unit turns and capital projects using Trello.
- Maintain and manage the CapEx budget, ensuring cost-effective use of resources.
- Build, develop, and support a high-performing maintenance team.
- Conduct routine property inspections to uphold safety, compliance, and quality standards.
- Collaborate closely with property management and corporate teams on operational strategy and planning.
- Ensure preventive maintenance programs are executed effectively.
- Provide hands-on support when needed and respond to emergency situations.
Qualifications
- 5+ years in residential or multi-site property maintenance; prior regional or supervisory experience required.
- Strong understanding of mechanical systems, plumbing, electrical, and HVAC.
- Experience using property management tools and task-tracking systems like Trello.
- Exceptional leadership and team-building skills.
- Highly organized and detail-oriented.
- Demonstrated ability to motivate, train, and lead successful maintenance teams.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation for travel.
