Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and provide a seamless check-in experience using efficient front desk procedures.
- Manage guest inquiries via phone and in person with excellent phone etiquette and multi-line phone system skills.
- Handle reservations, cancellations, and modifications accurately while maintaining up-to-date records.
- Assist guests with their needs during their stay, including providing information about hotel amenities, local attractions, and dining options.
- Coordinate with housekeeping, maintenance, and other departments to ensure guest requests are fulfilled promptly.
- Address guest concerns or complaints with professionalism and a proactive attitude to resolve issues swiftly.
- Support night audit procedures when scheduled, balancing accounts and preparing reports to ensure financial accuracy.
Requirements
- Proven experience in customer service or front desk roles within the hospitality industry; hotel experience is highly preferred.
- Strong communication skills in multiple languages; bilingual abilities are a significant advantage.
- Knowledge of hotel management systems and multi-line phone systems to efficiently handle reservations and guest interactions.
- Demonstrated ability to deliver outstanding guest services with a friendly, energetic demeanor.
- Familiarity with hospitality management principles, including guest relations and resort operations.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed for night audit shifts or peak times.
