Key Responsibilities
- Lead and oversee all kitchen operations
- Manage food preparation, presentation, and quality control to ensure consistency and excellence
- Supervise, train, mentor, and schedule kitchen staff while fostering a positive team culture
- Control food and labor costs through effective inventory management, purchasing, and waste reduction
- Ensure compliance with all health, sanitation, and safety regulations
- Collaborate with front-of-house management to enhance guest satisfaction and operational efficiency
- Maintain strong vendor relationships and oversee product sourcing and procurement
- Monitor kitchen equipment maintenance and overall cleanliness standards
- Support recruitment and retention efforts for culinary team members
Qualifications
- 5+ years of Executive Chef or senior culinary leadership experience in hospitality, hotel, resort, or high-volume restaurant environments
- Culinary degree or equivalent professional experience preferred
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
- Proven ability to manage food and labor budgets effectively
- Expertise in menu development, food presentation, and kitchen operations
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and sanitation standards
- Ability to work flexible schedules, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Passion for hospitality and creating memorable dining experiences
Pay: $67,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
